If you are a paid carer of a family member who does not actively support their family member with IDD who have committed an offence/engaged in behaviour that challenges, you should not complete this questionnaire.
This questionnaire enquires into your role as a carer, how it impacts you as well as about the person you care for.
It will take approximately 45 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary.
You have the option to enter a one in three chance £50 prize draw.
Participating in the research is not anticipated to cause you any disadvantages or discomfort. The potential physical and/or psychological harm or distress will be the same as any experienced in everyday life. However, questions included in this study require participants to reflect on their well-being and their caring role, which some people may find upsetting.
If you feel worried or in a low mood, we would like to point out that several sources of advice or help are free and readily available to you and may be helpful.
